Le Hameau des Sources is two old stone mas set in the garrigue, in Pompignan, between Nîmes and Montpellier. Julie, Franck, their children and everyone who lends a hand when it counts live here.
The stones have stood for more than five hundred years. Our turn only began in 2026.

Le Hameau des Sources sleeps up to 30 people across its two mas, Misette and Félix.
Two independent stone buildings, each with its own garden and terraces: everyone meets in the middle of the hamlet during the day, and goes back to their own place at night.

The larger of the two, renovated without losing any of its character: 6 bedrooms, 2 shower rooms, a patio beneath the beams, its own garden and pool set apart from the rest.

4 bedrooms, 2 shower rooms, its own private garden facing the hills, a large stretch of ground outside and the pétanque court just below.

The 180 m² reception hall, with its equipped kitchen and its dancing room under the vaults. The games room, set between the two mas: billiards, table football, darts, a poker table. The pétanque courts, the lavender field and the shaded terraces.

Weddings
A wedding with nothing to worry about.
You arrive the day before, set up the tables and garlands wherever you like, get married here, and the people you love go up to bed fifty metres from the party. Dinner runs on outdoors, the party carries on in the reception hall, and the next morning everyone sits down again for brunch. Up to 80 guests, sleeps 30 on site.

A birthday that deserves better than a restaurant, a golden wedding anniversary, a gathering of cousins, or simply the wish to bring everyone together for a stay. You book the whole hamlet, bring your own caterer or let us cook, and all that is left is to enjoy your people.

Your teams work in the 180 m² reception hall, have lunch outdoors and carry on to the pétanque court or the gardens. A whole day away from windowless meeting rooms, 45 minutes from Montpellier. And if some want to linger around the brasero, that works too.

The Brasero Evening
A generous selection of meats — beef, pork, lamb — cooked over a wood fire, seasonal vegetables and fresh local produce, and a long table that lasts until the embers fade.
Brunches and breakfasts
Pastries, eggs, fresh fruit and coffee that goes on: the morning after the party takes its time, outdoors whenever the weather allows.
Our own cooking
We cook for you, from the first evening to the next day’s brunch: tell us what you have in mind and we will put together a quote. And if you would rather bring your own caterer, let us know fifteen days before the event.

The hamlet is in Pompignan,between the Pic Saint‑Loup and the Cévennes
The hamlet sits at the end of a small road through the garrigue, where the Pic Saint-Loup gives way to the first foothills of the Cévennes. Far enough to hear nothing but the cicadas, close enough that your guests do not spend the day getting here.

What peopleoften ask us
How many people can Le Hameau des Sources host?
80 guests for an event and 30 people sleeping on site, across the two mas. And if rain joins the party, we have answers for that.
We provide wooden tables and benches for 50 people. Beyond that, and for chairs, the extra furniture is hired — by you, or by us if you would rather we took care of it.
How late can the party go on?
Music outdoors stops at 11 pm, out of respect for the neighbours and the calm of the place. The evening then carries on in the dancing room, where your DJ is waiting for you.
Can we bring our own caterer?
Yes. We simply ask you to let us know at least fifteen days before the event. You can also leave the meals to us: we will put together a tailored quote, from the Brasero Evening to the next day’s brunch.
Can we visit before booking?
Yes, by appointment. We much prefer to show you around ourselves: photos do not do justice to the size of the place.
Is the whole hamlet private?
Entirely: no other group, no other guests. Both mas, the pools, the reception hall and all the outdoor spaces are yours for the whole of your stay.
Are you on site during our event?
We live at the hamlet all year round, in our own homes at either end of the estate. Neither looks onto the mas, which remain entirely yours.
In practice: we welcome you when you arrive, show you how everything works, then leave you to it. If a light will not come on or a table is missing, we are there.
Can we bring our dog?
The hamlet does not accept animals, for everyone’s comfort. An exception can be made for a special occasion — a dog carrying the rings, for instance: talk to us and we will see together.
What about wheelchair access?
Our reception hall is accessible to people with reduced mobility. For any question about access or particular needs, please get in touch.
Where do our guests park?
In the hamlet car park, at the entrance to the estate. From there it is a one-minute walk along the surfaced path to the mas, and no cars in the middle of the party.
